The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern which attenuates signal pick up at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The pattern results in high gain-before-feedback response when using near monitors and speakers. The element is internally shock mounted to reduce noise caused by handling. An integral pop filter eliminates wind and noise and plosive sounds at close proximities. The rugged, road-worthy enclosure features Electro-Voice’s warm grip handle, and an On/Off switch is featured for added control.
